Holiday Art Party

Holiday Art Party

Last night we donned our silly hats and had a Holiday Art Party at the studio. We made ornaments and aged place cards, a mini framed painting  and the grand project: a painting of a Christmas Tree in the snow, complete with glitter. The class was full with 12 students and everyone had a great time! Alexis assisted with the projects and manned the glitter station. In between projects the kids had pizza and juice.

Fresh Air in the Studio

Watercolor from Fresh Air SessionLast Sunday we hosted a special session to help raise money for the Fresh Air Fund. A dozen kids and moms joined in the fun as we re-created Monet’s Water Lilies using acrylics, and then learned about watercolors while painting tulips. Everyone had fabulous time! Miss Rebecca is BACK!

As we wind up our Winter Sessions I want to take the time to thank all my students for their love & support over the past few years. As those of you who know me, and stuck by me will attest, my health issues have been a struggle over the past view years affecting my strength, eyesight and stamina….but I am on the mend! My new Doctors have fixed me up, my GF diet is helping tremendously and I feel stronger every day!

The kids helped me through one of the toughest times and I very much appreciate all the parents who stuck by me and continued to share their children with me each week.

Our Spring Registration is in full swing and final art projects are being completed by our Winter Session Students. I hope you all enjoyed the classes and will join us in the spring or once again soon!

Thanks!

Miss Rebecca
